Tell us about your interest in Central America. Have you been to there? Have you been involved in solidarity work?: Like snow, solitude and silence, so live in Managua!! Musician/activist. Involved in solidarity work since 1980. Moved to Nicaragua 1994. Married to Fatima Hernandez, former guerrillera, currently coordinator of Nicaragua Comunal Movement in our home barrio, La Primavera, Managua. I work with the FSLN's Zero Hunger program and coordinate Echoes of Silence, a independent network of 'artists with dirt under their fingernails´ dedicated to peace, justice and beauty. All our work is pro bono; support comes from donations, US/UK speaking/singing tours; CD sales, etc. PeaceWorks is our fiscal sponsor.
